SUSTAINABILITY · KRESHYA

Quality is sustainability.

A piece that lasts a lifetime never ends up in a landfill. At Kreshya, we believe true sustainability begins with making things exceptionally well — and keeping them that way.

"Sustainability and quality have to go hand in glove. Unless a product is long lasting, no matter what we do, it ends up in a landfill. By using superior materials and responsible processes, we prolong the life cycle of every piece we make."

— KRITISH VUMMIDI · CO-FOUNDER, KRESHYA

A DIFFERENT WAY OF THINKING

Sustainability isn't just about how something is made.

The jewellery industry has long equated sustainability with recycled materials and carbon offsets. At Kreshya, we go further. True sustainability is about longevity.

A piece of jewellery that breaks after six months — no matter how eco-friendly its packaging — is not sustainable. It ends up discarded, replaced, and ultimately in a landfill. The most responsible thing we can do is make something so well crafted, so enduringly beautiful, that it is never thrown away.

This is the philosophy the Vummidi family has practised for over a century. And it is the foundation on which Kreshya is built — superior manufacturing processes, responsible material choices, and jewellery made to outlast trends, seasons, and time.

OUR APPROACH

Three pillars of responsible craft

Every decision we make is guided by the belief that quality and sustainability are the same thing.

Superior Materials

We use certified silver alloys chosen for durability and longevity. A piece that maintains its beauty for years — one you never want to replace — is the most sustainable piece you can own.

Responsible Manufacturing

Small batch production. No overproduction. No waste-driven discounting. Every Kreshya piece is made with intention — produced only in quantities that reflect genuine demand.

Conscious Packaging

Our packaging is recycled, biodegradable, and minimal. We have eliminated single-use plastics entirely. But packaging is only part of it — we focus first on making the product itself last.

LONGEVITY AS SUSTAINABILITY

The most sustainable piece of jewellery is one you never throw away.

Fast fashion jewellery is one of the most wasteful categories in retail. Pieces that tarnish, break, or fall out of style within months contribute enormously to global waste.

Kreshya is built as the antidote to this. By prolonging the life cycle of every piece through superior craft and material quality, we reduce the need for replacement — and the waste that comes with it.
